</p><p>Tyrell is 100% not Elliot, how Joanna talked to Elliot is mysterious, but there is concrete evidence Tyrell is not another persona. </p>

<p>Yeah, you completely blew the lid off in the first sentence. But I can't help but wonder if the same couldn't be said about Mr. Robot. I haven't reviewed but I keep thinking about that scene in which Darlene is going to go through with the hack without the support of White Rose. Mr. Robot is yelling at her and then Elliot steps in and reasons with her. If I go back am I going to see that Darlene never even acknowledged Mr. Robot at that time? Or am I supposed to accept that Elliot first yelled at her (projecting this onto his alt persona) and then tried a new tactic? </p>

<p>yeah I think you are supposed to think that last thing you wrote. I'm pretty sure everyone in the group knows of his problem so they probably allow him to process that in whatever way he needs to as long as he gets his part done. </p><p>It's similar in the movie Fight Club (which this show probably used as a strong reference for how to do it). Although from Elliot's perspective (which is the main perspective of the show) we see people talking to Mr. Robot (like the guy in the cafe who punches him) and looking at him but not Elliot but in reality they actually are looking at him. </p><p>So basically sometimes Elliot is Elliot, sometimes Elliot functioning as both Mr. Robot and himself, and sometimes Elliot functioning as just Mr.Robot (which we haven't seen I don't think). But it's always from his original perspective that we get to see it through. That's probably why we have never seen him functioning as just Mr. Robot because at that point it's essentially a fugue state that he's in. </p>

<p>Sounds about right. FYI, we've definitely seen him operate as just Mr. Robot. I already mentioned his meeting with Tyrell and there was the scene in the greenhouse when he pulled the gun on Romero. </p>

<p>I think Tyrell is a real person and not another character build in Elliot´s mind... </p>
