Angela Moss is an employee of Allsafe Cybersecurity. She is a childhood friend of Elliot, and was the person responsible for getting him his job as a cybersecurity engineer. For a short period, she served as Allsafe's account executive in charge of E Corp's security contract; However, after numerous attacks that ultimately culminated in the massive DDoS attack against E Corp, Terry Colby instructed her boss, Gideon to remove her from her position.
Just like Elliot, Angela also lost a parent in the 'Washington Township Scandal' that was pinned on Terry Colby. She has now put her job, her father who is drowning in debt (mostly due to her student loans), and cheating ex-boyfriend in the rearview and envisions something greater, almost perfectly aligning with f.society's vision as said in one conversation with Elliot.
Her now ex-boyfriend's naive idiocy landed Angela in trouble by uploading malware directly onto her computer, having access to her web cam, which later would turn into blackmail. Forcing Angela to go into work and upload a virus into the system herself from an Allsafe computer terminal.
She personally has a MacBook and uses OS X.
Angela's relationships with other characters is complex and numerous details are revealed through successive episodes. Angela is Elliot's best friend and has been close with him since the death of his father in childhood. She also encourages him to go outside of his comfort zone and interact with new people and engage in romantic relationships, even encouraging Elliot to continue his relationship with Shayla.
