Michael Cristofer (born January 22, 1945) is an American playwright, filmmaker, and actor from Trenton, New Jersey. He plays Phillip Price, the CEO of E-Corp.
Cristofer was born Michael Procaccino, the son of Mary (Muccioli) and Joseph Peter Procaccino. He started his theatrical career as an actor, primarily on stage. He has written numerous plays and screenplays, including the films The Witches of Eastwick and The Bonfire of the Vanities.
Cristofer was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for Drama and a Tony Award for the Broadway production of his play, The Shadow Box (1977).
